Gaming PC vs. iMac

I'm getting into PC gaming and I need some advice. Should I go with an iMac or a dedicated gaming PC. Here's what I'm looking at. (PS: Price isn't a problem)

Gaming PC:

  • 3.2GHz AMD Athlon II X2 processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 450W power supply
  • 1 TB SATA II hard drive
  • Nvidia Geforce GT 520 with 1GB of video memory
  • Comes with keyboard, mouse, and windows 7 (no monitor included, I'll get a 25" LED one)
  • $579.99

iMac (21.5" version):
  • 2.5GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 with 6MB on-chip shared L3 cache
  • Built in iSight webcam
  • 500GB Hard Drive
  • 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM
  • DVD SuperDrive
  • AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics processor with 512MB of GDDR5 memory
  • $1,199.00
I'm thinking of going with the gaming PC because the hard drive is bigger, bigger video memory, and a bigger processor. I am also planning on using it for video editing so I think the gaming PC will be better but, let me know what you think on twitter (@kutarimeikitato or @thebytegaming01)! Also once I get one of these I will do an unboxing of it on my new tech/gaming channel...here http://goo.gl/f2jUY !!!

YouTube Giveaway Central

So yeah, this is my new channel dedicated to finding and featuring the best and most legit giveaways on YouTube. From Apple products to gaming stuff to headphones and more!! Be sure to subscribe and stay tuned. Basically my thought process behind this is...I do the work for you. I find the best giveaways and tell you how much work you have to do to get entered. I also have a twitter dedicated for this goal. @YTGiveawayCen is for updates about when certain giveaways are ending, starting, and updates about the channel. It might be a good idea to follow me at that twitter account.

Yup, I hope this channel works out good, I think it should be fun. Enjoy!

It's Been Awhile

Well I'm back in the US and I'm still getting adjusted back to my old life. It kinda sucks being back for a couple reasons.

  • The food isn't nearly as good
  • my bed is uber uncomfortable
  • my room is unreasonably hot
  • my privacy (what little I had in Japan) is gone
The saying "You never know what you have until it's gone." Why does it have to be so freaking true!?!?! Oh well. I'm trying to make better content for my YouTube channel. I'm trying to work with my friends on a pretty huge project that you guys (well no one reads this anyways) can help with! More info to come in time! Maybe! !!!! haha

Funny Idea :)

So, today while standing out in the 90+ degree weather here in Japan, I got this awesome idea. So here's a break down of my idea.

  • When I fly home on July 11th
  • Buy a completely different set of clothes here in Japan to wear
  • Try and walk past my family waiting for me at the airport when I arrive
  • See how long it takes for them to freak out (if I successfully walk past them)
Just an interesting experiment to see how well my family actually knows me :)

Japan.

After being away from home for almost a week (a week tmw) I've found out a lot about myself and Japan.

About me:

  • When I get stressed out I barf...a lot...
  • Coke and saltines remind me of home and make me feel better
  • I suck at speaking Japanese
  • Typhoons scare me
Japan:
  • RAIN
  • HOT
  • COLD
  • AGGGHHHH!!!
  • RICE EVERY MEAL
  • EAT ALL THE FOOD GIVEN TO YOU!!!
So yeah...that kind of sums up my trip so far...honestly I'm kinda not liking it here, I mean the people are really nice and the food is great...it's just...when I was here 4 years ago it seems like I experienced a lot more and got to do a lot more. I thought this time, since I was coming alone, that I would experience even more and get a better insight into Japan. I guess I'm a little homesick but, I think what I'm missing more is just being able to communicate easily and fluently with anyone and everyone. Being able to hang out with my friends and being around people I know. So you could call it "home sick" but, I think it's something different.

Oh yeah before I go...the reason I was so stressed out was because, I was pretty much thrown into a class with people that can't speak english and they speak japanese very fast and i was mobbed...so it was a very overwhelming first couple of days. But, it's not like I can participate in class...in Math they're doing Trig (and they're a grade behind me, so sophomores), in Biology I have no idea...and in every other class besides spanish and english grammer i'm screwed! Oh yeah...it is really weird in Spanish because I have 3 different languages going through my head at the same time trying to communicate to them...wow. That was crazy!

Well, I better go otherwise I'm gonna be sick...hahahahaha
